Portfolio return for December 2006
December had been another positive month for equities. The return from my 70% equity / 30% fixed income portfolio was a respectable 1.53%.
Normally, I would also create a plot showing the price movements of the individual funds. However this month also brought along many fund distributions and I decided to forgo this plot since the distributions, some of which were quite significant, would distort the true return of the funds.
