Have you rebalanced your portfolio lately?

The stock markets have been doing very well lately and my fixed income allocation is now a bit underweight in my portfolio. This morning, I took the opportunity of the Fed chairman-inspired rally to sell a portion of my equities allocation and then used the proceeds to add onto my fixed income allocation. This reallocation is about 1.4% of my entire portfolio.

There were no costs involved since all the transactions were using no-transaction-fee funds in tax-advantaged accounts.
