For the month, international equities (large-cap, small-cap and emerging markets) and precious metal and mining equities are up the most, returning from about 3% to 4%. U.S. REITs are the laggards, falling some 3%.

What application do you use for those graphs? Or for analyzing your portfolio in general? Or did you have to make them yourself? They look good.

Hi patrick, I use Excel to track my portfolio.

The first graph was created using Excel. The second graph was a ‘print screen’ from the MoneyCentral.com website.

Hey indexfundfan, I’m pretty new to investing..
Just wanted to thank you for all the information I’ve found in your blogs, it’s been extremely helpful =)

A quick question regarding excel..do you have a good website where I could learn to track my portfolio using excel..and to learn to create graphs such as the first one in this post? Thanks in advance, and keep up the great work!! =)

(also very interested in your wells fargo pma series…i’m considering opening a pma account but have heard horror stories about wells fargo in general..will wait to see how the experience turns out over the next couple of months for you before taking the plunge)
      Again, thanks for everything.

      Hi Ben,

I am glad you find the information useful.

Unfortunately, I don’t know of any website that teaches Excel. As for Wells Fargo, I am still pretty happy with them. No complaints yet. ;-)
