Portfolio return for April 2007
My portfolio gained 2.81% in April 2007. And for the first time this year, it lagged behind the benchmark’s monthly return of 3.34%. Overall, the portfolio’s gain YTD is 5.99%. I am happy with this return.

In terms of individual asset classes, all of them gave positive returns. The strongest return came from Precious Metals and Mining equities, returning almost 5% for the month. US total market and international equities (large-caps, small-caps and emerging markets equities included) came in at about 4%. US small-caps has fallen behind at about 2%. US REITs came in last with a flat return.
