[...] 1and1 (1&1) webhost is increasing the hosting fees by 40% from $4.99 per month to $6.99 per mont.... I have moved the website to Arvixe Personal’s Class hosting which offers “unlimited storage and bandwidth” and includes one domain name registration. I made a one-time payment of $72 for two years, which averages out to be $3 per month. The new price is less than half of 1&1’s new fee. [...]

I'm pleased to tell you that I'm happy with ANHosting, but it'd not as cheap as the ones you mentioned. But, I hardly ever had downtime and they repsond to my questions/conerns promptly.

Hi drizzt, my current shortlist is Arvixe.com. I had planned to sign up with Arvixe maybe one or two years back but never got the incentive to deal with the trouble of moving my site. Now, I do have an incentive.

I am looking at Arvixe's 2-year plan for $96 ($4 a month) with unlimited bandwidth and storage. If I am not happy with the service, I get the money back within the first 60 days.

Which is your current webhoster now?
